What is covered in a project summary report?

The project summary report provides a high level overview of the security posture of one or more projects.

Unlike detailed penetration testing reports, the Project Summary Report focuses on summarizing vulnerabilities and security findings at a project level, making it easier to share security status with stakeholders who do not require technical details.

Note: Project summary reports are available only on the Enterprise plan.

Generating a project summary report

  • Go to the Reports dashboard.

  • Click Project summary report.

  • Select the project or projects you want to include in the report.

  • Click Generate to get the report.

You can include multiple projects in a single report to provide a consolidated view of security findings across your environment.

What information is included?

The Project summary report provides a summarized view of vulnerabilities identified within the selected projects.

This typically includes:

  • Project level security information

  • Vulnerability counts

  • Vulnerability categorization

  • Security trends and summaries

  • Security insights

The report is designed to provide an overview of security findings without requiring readers to review individual vulnerabilities or technical remediation details.

When should you use a project summary report?

Project summary reports are particularly useful for larger organizations that manage multiple projects and applications.

Common use cases include:

  • Sharing security status with leadership teams

  • Management reporting

  • Compliance and audit reviews

  • Security program reporting

  • Executive level security updates

Because the report focuses on summaries rather than technical details, it allows non technical stakeholders to understand the overall security posture of projects without needing to review individual findings.
