How to configure your application's tech stack information?
Providing information about your application’s technology stack helps Beagle Security optimize test execution, generate more contextual reports, and improve the accuracy of the Tech stack risk insights feature. You can configure your application’s database, framework, programming language, server operating system, and web server from the application configuration section.
How to reach the tech stack?
- Navigate to the Applications tab.
- Select the application you want to configure.
- Open the Configuration and select Basic.
- Click on Tech stack.
Here you can find the following categories:
- Database
- Frameworks
- Programming language
- Server OS
- Web server

Configure your tech stack
- Click on any category to view the available options.
- Select the technologies used by your application and, where applicable, specify the corresponding version information. Providing accurate version details helps Beagle Security identify technology specific risks and generate more contextual security insights.
You can configure one or more technologies depending on your environment.
Why configure your tech stack?
Beagle Security uses this information to better understand your application’s technology landscape and improve test coverage.
Tech stack information also contributes to Tech stack risk insights, which helps identify technologies and versions that may introduce security risks due to known vulnerabilities, outdated releases, or published security advisories.
For navigating to Tech stack risk insights:
- From your application, select Result.
- Scroll down and choose Tech stack risk insights.
