# How to share a report with a client or an auditor?

The Result Share feature allows you to securely share penetration testing results with clients, auditors, or other stakeholders without providing direct access to your Beagle Security account. A view only link is generated for a specific test session and can be protected with additional security controls such as password protection and link expiration.

# Generating a shared report link
* Go to **Applications**.

* Select the application containing the test results you want to share.

* Open the **Results** tab.

* Click **Show result**.

* Click the **Result share** icon.

This will open the Result share configuration window.

# Configure sharing options
Before generating the link, you can configure additional security options:

### Set an expiration date
Enable **Set the expiration days for the shared report** to specify how long the shared link will remain accessible. Once the configured period expires, the link will no longer be available.

### Password protect the shared link
Enable **Set a password to protect the shared link** to require recipients to enter a password before accessing the report. This provides an additional layer of security when sharing sensitive findings.

# Generate and share the report
Once you have configured the desired settings, click **Generate**.

Beagle Security will create a view only link that can be shared with clients, auditors, or other stakeholders. Recipients can review the results through the shared link without requiring access to your Beagle Security account.
